What is included and excluded from each tour?

We strive to make each tour as unique as possible and as such a detailed list of ‘inclusions’ (ex. food, accomodations, transport, excursions, local guide, etc.), ‘exclusions’ (ex. flights, additional excursions, tips, etc.). FAQs (ex. what to pack, location specific information, etc.) for each tour will be included within each specific tour page / itinerary

What does trip confirmed mean?

Each tour needs to hit a minimum number of community travelers (typically 6-8) before it can be confirmed. We strongly encourage all travelers to NOT book flights until you receive an email from the TWM team stating the trip is confirmed.

How many travellers are on each tour?

We prefer to to keep tours as intimate as possible (as we find it forms deeper connections), so tours are no larger than 18 travellers

Can i come solo or with friend or a partner?

Both! Solo travellers who share the same passion will immediately connect with the community - our tours are designed to be inclusive, to encourage you to engage with new people, to provide a space to forge relationships, and to create lasting memories.

How do I pay for the tour?

Depends on you! At TWM we have a flexible payment plan to suit the needs of community travellers. Travellers can choose to pay just the deposit up front (this is required to reserve their spot on the tour), and then pay down the remaining balance up to 60 days prior to the tour launch date. Alternatively travellers can pay the entire amount up front (this way saves ~3% as no additional credit card service charges are included).

How do deposits, refunds, and cancellations work?

Deposits are typically 15-20% of the total tour amount, due at the time of booking your spot on the tour, in order to save your spot.

The deposit is refundable (minus processing fess) up until the tour is confirmed.  The remaining balance will be required no later than 60 days prior to the start of the tour. 

Any tour that is not have the minimum number of travellers 90 days before launchdate, will be cancelled or postponed. Travellers and choose to take a credit for future use or receive a refund.

What is your referral policy?

What is better than travelling solo? Exploring, discovering and rejuvenating with a friend. Our referral program offers you the chance to refer a friend for 10% off the total cost of your trip.  See section 5 of our Booking Conditions. for details.

What about Travel Insurance?

It is compulsory that all travelers have insurance. we will request the policy number in advance of the trip.

What do I need to know about Visas?

Visa requirements vary based on each trip and it is each traveller’s responsibility to understand visa requirements. VFS global is a good resource.

Will be have a local guide available?

Throughout your tour, a local guide or TWM team member will accompany the entire group to make sure you have everything you need for a fun, safe, and memorable experience.  You are also able to reach out to the TWM team with any concerns or questions – before, during and even after your tour. Specific details will be included as part of your pre tour communications pack.

Will I have downtime?

What does the TWM team do?

The TWM team are here to support both our creators and their communities in having an epic tour together.  From an on-the-ground local guide to our TWM team at HQ, there is always someone available to help solve any issues you may encounter. We pride ourselves on prompt responses and are happy to hear from you, whether by email, phone or via a Zoom call, on how we could improve your stay or anything we need to prepare before your arrival.
